Kiskoni: I enjoyed the original Sonic Runners while the servers were still up. It was fun, fast, and so addictive. This, however, is none of those things. The game is just a coin collecting simulator with Sonic slapped ontop of it.

Hedgehog Gamer Davis: I love it but however there needs to be more characters to unlock after reaching a certain amount of stars or missions completed. We need Metal Sonic, Amy, Blaze, Silver, Cream, Werehog Sonic, Classic Sonic, Classic Tails, Classic Knuckles, Mighty, Ray, the deadly six, and last but not least the Babylon rogues! But also event characters would be cool to add too, try that.

Rob: Pretty boring, I feel like this game was originally built as a pay to play game. They way it cheats you out of coins with near impossible to miss obstacles. Pressing jump multiple times is the only mechanic. The other mechanic is having impossible, unavoidable hazards put in your way.

The boss battles follow a formula but challenges add some variety when you switch characters. Overall, I really enjoyed my time. It took me 15 hours to complete playing over time since August. If you already own the original Sonic side scrollers, this game may be worth a purchase on sale. If not, buy Sonic 1 and/or Sonic 2, instead.
