Mereka kem bali mengenakan selendangnya masing-masing. Na mun salah satu bidadari itu tidak mene mu kan selendangnya. Keenam kakaknya turut membantu men cari, namun hingga senja tak ditemu kan
juga. Karena hari sudah mulai senja, Nawangwulan di tinggalkan seorang diri. Kakak-kakanya kembali ke Khayangan. Ia merasa sangat sedih.

Tidak lama kemudian Jaka Tarub datang menghampiri dan berpura-pura menolong sang Bidadari itu. Di ajaknya bidadari yang ternyata bernama Nawang Wulan itu pulang ke rumahnya. Kehadiran Nawang Wulan
membuat Jaka Tarub kembali bersemangat.

Singkat cerita, merekapun akhirnya menikah. Keduanya hidup dengan Bahagia. mereka pun memiliki seorang putri cantik bernama Nawangsih. Sebelum mereka menikah, Nawang wulan mengingatkan kepada Jaka
Tarub untuk tidak menanyakan kebiasan yang akan dilakukannya nanti setelahnya ia menjadi istri.
